Estate Planning

estate-planningEstate planning is for everyone and benefits all families regardless of wealth. It serves as a blueprint for the distribution of your assets after your death. In order to ensure that your assets are distributed as you desire it is important to have proper Estate Planning.  It will allow you to decide who will be in charge of carrying out your wishes by naming a Personal Representative in your will, or a Trustee in your Trust.  Also, proper Estate Planning may allow you to leave assets to your family in a manner which protects the assets from creditors.

A thorough Estate Plan may include a will, living will, health care and financial power of attorney documents, and perhaps a  trust document.

At Northland Elder Law we are committed to taking  the necessary time to evaluate your unique financial situation and to advise you of the  best possible Estate Plan to meet your desires and needs.
